A workshop to open the throat chakra and learn about icaros.

Icaros are ancient healing songs which lead ceremonies. Traditionally the songs are in shipibo or quechua depending on the tribe but many more recent are in spanish. I spend every winter in the Amazon with my teachers studying these incredible healing songs.

During this workshop I will help you to open your throat chakra, teach you some techniques to help with confidence, connection and grounding and of course we will learn and write some icaros together. 

I will serve a special pink amazon tea called Bobinsana because she is the plant medicine for singing and will support and encourage you. 

I have been singing in ceremony for approximately 5 years and have had quite a journey with it, encountering many problems with anxiety and self doubt in the beginning. I have overcome these issues and I think everybody should sing so would love to share my techniques and knowledge with you. 

This workshop is suitable for all - whether you are experienced or holding ceremonies yourself or whether you are a complete beginner and like the idea of singing for fun or perhaps you struggle to say what you really think and would like some help with opening your throat. Everyone is welcome. 

This is a new venture for me and I am really excited about it.
